Wild Landscapes, Walled Cities, and a Journey Through Irish History
Discover the untamed beauty and historic heart of Ireland’s northern half on this immersive 6-day tour. From ancient royal sites and coastal wonders to civil rights landmarks and cultural capitals, the Northern Odyssey offers a whirlwind of sights and stories—carefully paced and rich with meaning.
Beginning in Dublin and ending in Galway, this journey takes you through sacred valleys, turbulent histories, and some of the most jaw-dropping landscapes Europe has to offer. With all the details handled for you, you’re free to sink into the stories, connect with the land, and enjoy a stress-free adventure through Ireland’s northern soul.
What to Expect
Your tour begins in Dublin and heads straight for the ancient Hill of Tara, once the ceremonial seat of Ireland’s High Kings and one of the island’s most spiritually significant sites. From there, we travel north into Belfast, where the world-famous Titanic Museum and a moving Black Cab Political Tour await, offering an unforgettable glimpse into the city’s industrial pride and political past.
Next, we venture along the breathtaking Antrim Coast. You’ll cross the Carrick-a-Rede Rope Bridge, explore the mysterious basalt columns of the Giant’s Causeway, and visit the cliff-top ruins of Dunluce Castle—each site a highlight in its own right. Then it’s on to Derry, Ireland’s only fully walled city, where a walking tour brings centuries of conflict, resilience, and transformation to life.
From Derry, we head into Donegal and the Wild Atlantic Way, following one of the world’s most scenic coastal routes. Prepare to be awestruck by the towering Slieve League Cliffs—twice the height of the Cliffs of Moher and far less travelled. As the landscapes shift from wild to poetic, we make our way through Yeats Country and the hauntingly beautiful Connemara, with a visit to the romantic Kylemore Abbey.
The tour ends on a high note in Galway City—Ireland’s cultural capital—where street performers, traditional music, and vibrant energy offer a fitting finale to your journey.
