8 Day Kingdom of Rebels Tour

This awe inspiring tour gives you everything that the South West of Ireland has to offer. Travelling along the Wild Atlantic Way, we will see some of the most stunning coastline in Europe, this track offers over 150 signature discovery points and we make sure to see the best that it has to offer.

Making our way south from Dublin city our first destination is the medieval Rock of Cashel for a quick history lesson, then straight on the kiss the Blarney Stone and stroll around some of the most beautiful gardens Ireland has to offer in the grounds of Blarney Castle. Staying in Cork city for our first night, its sure to be a good one.

Moving West towards Kenmare and on to the best that the Ring of Kerry has to offer, leading us directly into Killarney National Park to discover waterfalls, native deer, beautiful wildlife and of course Muckross House. Killarney town is where we are staying. A town that is beaming with excitement and full of life.

Making our way towards the Dingle peninsula, one of the most stunning areas in the whole country, we end up in a signature destination point of the Wild Atlantic Way, Dingle town, steeped in Irish heritage and culture, it is also one of the foodie capitals of the country. This peninsula boasts one of the world most beautiful coastal drives, Slea Head Drive, which takes us out to the most westerly point of Ireland. Then back to town for drinks and traditional Irish music.

As we leave County Kerry behind, we venture towards the Cliffs of Moher. These jaw dropping cliffs, standing at over 700ft tall, are spectacular no matter what time of year and might just be one of the most famous points on the Wild Atlantic Way. Staying in Doolin tonight, home of traditional Irish music.

The Aran Islands follow, as we travel by ferry to this destination point on the Wild Atlantic Way. This place is a throwback in time, with stone walls as far as the eye can see and home of the Aran sweater you can be sure to find beauty around every corner. Take a bicycle or maybe a horse and cart around the island to see the sites.

Getting the ferry back to the mainland we travel to Clifden, the most westerly town in the country where great sea food awaits, (they do a good steak as well!)

We wake up and after breakfast we go straight to Kylemore Abbey, a beautiful Benedictine abbey with over 1000 acres to explore. Then we make our way through Connemara on route to Galway city, the heart of the Wild Atlantic Way. This city was voted the culture capital of Europe and we get to experience the famous shop street and listen to some street entertainment. Staying in Galway city tonight.

Departing Galway and heading back to Dublin, we stop at Clonmacnoise Monastery, one of the most influential monasteries we have, situated on the banks of the River Shannon. Our last stop is Tullamore Distillery, this is handpicked by Valhalla Tours as it is one of the best distillery tours in the country.

Making our way back to Dublin for fair well hugs and memories that will last a lifetime!
